Description:

|
Formerly the Royale Theatre, the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre was designed in 1927 by Herbert J. Krapp. The theater was renamed in 2005 after longtime Shubert Organization President Bernard B. Jacobs. With one of the largest capacities on Broadway, seating almost 1,200, the theater's first hit was Diamond Lil, starring Mae West. The theatre was the locale for Julia Roberts Broadway debut, in Three Days of Rain, in 2006 and Julie Andrews Broadway debut in, The Boy Friend, in 1954. Who knows who you may see on stage at the legendary Bernard B. Jacobs Theater.
